This beautiful volume is much more than just a book about Tolkien himself - that's just the first section. Subsequent chapters look at each of his three major works - The Hobb|From Booklist|J. R. R. Tolkien’s reputation has varied but certainly has increased in the last few years (to some degree because of the popularity of Peter Jackson’s films). Snyder, a professor at Miss
